Yesterday we had temperatures of 38 degrees Celsius and more in the main greenhouse, phew! but luckily our customers are a hardy lot as are the plants.

We've been busy making up baskets and displays for many of the local pubs and for Cottingham in Bloom. Cottingham has won awards before in the Yorkshire in Bloom competitions and we hope that our plants and displays help Cottingham to another blooming perfect year.

Lilies, Hebe's, box hedging, marigolds, Buzy Lizzie's, enormous variety of Fuschias, tall bamboo plants and lots lots more all just come in over the weekend so hurry as everyone does the garden when it's sunny so use the wet day to get your bedding plants and other requirements while no-one else is about.

Yesterday we had a delivery of bedding plants and as soon as the truck pulled up so did around 20 cars and everyone went straight to the new bedding plants but we are trying to get regular supplies so please come and grab yourself a bargain at the one and only Discount Plants Garden Centre, Park Lane, Cottingham.
